EVE Online developer, CCP, has revealed that they’ve agreed to an acquisition by Pearl Abyss, the South Korean developer responsible for the Black Desert Online.

Though EVE Online has a free mode, it’s not quite a free-to-play game, but there’s no telling what changes will occur because of this purchase, but considering the Icelandic developer has been successfully maintaining EVE for fifteen years now, Pearl Abyss is fully willing to admit that they might learn a thing or two from the veterans.
