Dirty Bomb, which – for a while – was known as Extraction, but then had its name changed back to Dirty Bomb, entered Early Access on Steam more than three years ago. During that time, it saw plenty of iteration and improvement, as well as developer, Splash Damage, departing from their partnership with Nexon and self-publishing the game themselves. Now, however, the game’s finally about to hit that lauded 1.0 stage.

There will be plenty of rewards for both beta and new players when the game launches next week. Splash Damage also added a bit of lore for each character, and when 1.0 launches, it will bring along the return of Execution, a game mode the removed some time ago.
