If you feel that Dota 2 has gotten a bit stale, fear not, because the game just received the biggest update since 6.00 over a decade ago. That’s right, 7.00 is here.

7.00 brings with it a new hero, the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, a revised and Streamlined HUD with a smaller footprint and increased customization, and a brand-new pregame with improved hero selection, and a 30-sec warm-up while the game’s still loading in the background where you can buy items and plan an attack.

Perhaps the biggest change, though, is the addition of talents. Now, at 10, 15, 20, and 25, players can choose between one of two talents. At level 10, Vengeful Spirit can choose 8% magic resist, or 25 attack speed. There’s also a bunch of small changes to the level curve, and the rewards for killing and the penalty for dying.

As if that wasn’t enough, the update also grants a model rework to Slardar, Viper, and Enigma.
