Easy 2 Play, Hard 2 Master

The game itself is brilliant. Awesome setting, nice vampires (brutal, gruesome, powerful and sometimes a little rotten, not like this, in Twilight),fair chances for both human and vampires... Well, vampires can feel more easy, but that's all depends on team-work and team-play. Good party of humans can easily hunt and kill vampires, who are not good at team work. Or vampires with nice team-work can shred all team of humans in seconds.
So, the most important thing for humans: how to shoot. It's sometimes hard to hit the target, because almost all weapon has projectiles - and flight time. All abilities have slight delays. You need to feel, what passives, what weapons and abilities you want to use. And it may vary depending on your team. It doesn't mean, that you can't play the same character, as the other one. Really, basic Hunter one of the most powerful and all-round human. He have decent CC (with Bolas or Blinding Shots), and good damage (especially in close quarters). In one-on-one battle vampires usually have better chances, but player, who can play humans good, can kill player, who can play vampires decent.
This game has one large flaw - sometimes it's hard to find people to play, or sometimes level of those players are too different. And good player, with better skills, can crush whole team of enemies - especially if he communicate with them and they listen to him.
There are a lot of things, that become more important when you learn how to play. Like to bring corpse to wounded ally-vampire, or use bola to protect your alchemist or prophet, or block with vanguard shield (it's hard for me, never had good chances with that), or mind-control human and lead them to the claws of you teammates.. This game is full of such things. It's worth to try it. Especially now, when they add craft, so you can turn any common equipment into arcane, if you have enough resources.

    Wanne be a monster?

Nosgoth is a cool shooter because it is not a regular shooter. It's not human vs human but human vs monster. you have different classes of humans and monsters. each class has a different skillset. Because of the different skillset you can have random battle outcomes. The munsters are melee and the humans are ranged. Thats makes it intresting. The monsters can run on the walls and jump very far, some can even fly. In the shop you buy different skills which is cool. Give it a try you will not regret it.

    Fair and fun

When i first heard about this game my first thought was the vampires are going to be over powered, impossible to beat. I was way off base. The game is fair and fun.

    Legacy of Kain + L4D

Everyone from the 90's knows Soul Reaver from the Legacy of Kain series, and this game brings you into the same world, full of vampires that you have to hunt in a gameplay that reminds Left 4 Dead, with tons of chars and two factions that you'll switch sometimes into a fast and strategic team match.
The Vampires are fast and deadly, able to heal themself with the enemy bodies, the humans instead are powerful and able to charge the ammos in the camps.
You are able to get coin playing the game, getting abilities and with some of them being able to unlock new classes.
The game in the end run on a really good Unreal Engine that does its work in one of the best ways you could ever seen.
If you like PvP and team match, try it.
    Especially if you like blood.

    Good Game, Bad Community

The actual game is great and very fun. Very teambased, but that's the catch... there is no players to have a team. The community is dead and unless they do some reboot to get more players, the install button is useless.

    Puh

I love this game to death. I would play it in my coffin if I could. Vampire Puns. Anyways, this game has some very addictive gameplay. Its very teambased, and everyone has to work together. Team composition is also very important, since every character has different abilities, that might only be useful when there arent two copies of him around.

The community is friendly, but sadly shrinking. This is also one of the only games I have never experienced hacking in, which says a lot about it. If you worry about characters getting stale, dont worry, the developers are adding new characters often enough.

From my most recent experience, the game is still very balanced (unless of course your team composition sucks) and a match almost never feels unfair.

    Id recommend it.

    A Dying Game

I both Alpha and Beta tested Nosgoth and spend a decent amount of time playing the full game.First let me say that I had a great time with it...at first. Another thing I should note is that If you're looking for a Legacy of Kain/Soulreaver game, then you should look elsewhere as the only real correlation is the universe. Gameplaywise it could not be more different.

The vampires, hunters, effects, and world all look great and do a good job of replicating the visual style the LoK had. The gameplay as hunters is fun and responsive once you get used to it. When you become good as the vampires you can really have a blast. It does take time to get used to, though, and the skill cap can be intimidating to new players. This might be why so few people play, which is the game's greatest failing. The lack of a large community means new players will be demolished over and over by veterans who have logged tons of hours and low-rank players will have an extremely hard time finding a game and can sit in queue for what seems like hours.

TL;DNR Decent game with high skill cap and dead community. Pass this one over unless you want to put in the hours to master it.
