Back in 2009, when cloning World of Warcraft wasn’t just a thing you could do, but a valid business strategy, Runes of Magic came onto the scene and saw a fair amount of success in the fantasy MMO space, carving out a nice niche for itself separate from Blizzard’s behemoth.
In the 9 years since, what Runes of Magic has yet to see, however, is a Steam release. That is soon to change. How soon, you may ask? Though the developer hasn’t given a concrete date yet, they have set up a Steam page with the availibity plainly being set to this month – July. With but one week remaining until August, it seems as though “this week” is a pretty safe bet as to when the game might release.
