Developer Radiant Worlds announced today that it seems as though their world isn’t quite as radiant as it once was.
Negotiations with their publisher, Smile Gate, to renew the contract for SkySaga: Infinite Worlds have ceased to be, and so too will the game. Smile Gate has chosen to put development of the game on indefinite hiatus, and as such, Radiant Worlds no longer has a way to garner income, and that’s a whole nother slew of issues, most likely resulting in some wide restructuring and loss of jobs.
Not all games are meant to be. The entire industry is built on projects that never came to be, but it’s still unfortunate that people will likely be losing their jobs. You can read the full announcement on the official site.
