It’s a good thing Apex Legends is knockin’ socks off because there’s another EA title that came out at roughly the same time that is doing anything but.
I mean, obviously nobody expected Anthem to set the world on fire, but nor did anyone expect quite a ridiculous case of self-immolation. But Apex Legends has helped to keep EA from feeling that burn too badly. Those first 30 days, evidently – boy howdy, they were good for EA.
50 million people are playing Apex Legends, and 30% of them are new to EA. Evidently, the game “significantly outperform our expectations in Q4.”
